If you’ve got an old console that’s seen better days but don’t want to spend a fortune getting it fixed, here’s some great news: A new pop-up is offering free repairs for retro consoles! For two days only, the “Retro Console Clinic” pop-up will be hosted at the Four Quarters arcade bar in Elephant Park, London, courtesy of Pringles. The event promises free repairs from expert technicians for your nostalgic gaming consoles from the 90s and 00s.
The pop-up will be running from 12 pm to 8 pm on both days. If you’re worried about missing out due to high demand, you can pre-book your repair slot on Eventbrite. Just check the event page for more details, including what qualifies as “retro” — and it looks like as long as your console is older than an “original” Xbox or PlayStation 2, you’re good to go. Unfortunately, Sega Saturn repairs are not available, for reasons unknown, so those of you still hanging on to your Saturns might be out of luck.
